Individual Therapy.
Trauma-informed care is at the core of my practice. This approach recognizes the impact that trauma can have on an individual's life and seeks to provide a safe and supportive environment for healing to take place.
I am trained to understand the ways in which trauma can affect an individual and to work with survivors in a way that is respectful of their experiences.
I also offer a variety of therapy modalities that can be tailored to the individual needs of each survivor. These include, but are not limited to, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Narrative Therapy is a form of therapy that helps individuals to understand the stories they tell about themselves and their experiences. By exploring these stories, survivors can gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and work towards creating a new narrative that is empowering and healing.
Solution-Focused Therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on helping individuals to identify and achieve specific goals. This approach encourages survivors to focus on what they want to achieve rather than dwelling on the past.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a type of therapy that is designed to help individuals manage difficult emotions and behaviors. This approach combines elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy with mindfulness techniques to help individuals to regulate their emotions and improve their relationships.
As a solo practitioner, I am able to provide personalized and individualized care. I understand that healing from sexual trauma can be a long and difficult journey, and I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for you to explore your experiences and work towards healing and growth. If you or someone you know is a survivor of sexual trauma and is seeking therapy, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am here to help.
